Fireplace
This entire wall was completely transformed and is now a focal point in their home. We removed the original fireplace and closed in the recessed space above, which gave us a blank canvas. The bookcases and mantle are from Showplace Custom Cabinets and are a natural Cherry wood. We gave this space natural light and symmetry by installing two new Milgard windows. The fireplace is of Arizona Stone Rocky Mountain Ledge Sandy Peak, which we installed to the ceiling, and for the hearth, they went with a Torreon travertine slab. Their new focal wall was complete with a new Heat N Glo Premium Slimline fireplace.
Main Bath
We removed their drop-in tub and created an oversized walk-in shower. Arizona Tile Calacatta Porcelain tiles were used for the interior and exterior shower walls, with Bedrosian Hemisphere Balboa Pebbles for the floor and niche areas. Instead of a glass enclosure, they chose custom, stationary glass panels to provide a spa-like walk-in opening. Their walk-in shower is complete with two chrome Kohler rain heads with hydro rails. Showplace EVO cabinetry was used for the vanity areas with custom countertops and Signature Hardware fixtures in chrome. Custom mirrors and light fixtures were installed, and their floors were upgraded to a Ditra heated floor with Marrazzi Mendocino Travertine.
Powder Bath
This natural oak vanity was refinished with Sherwin Williams Jadite High Gloss, complementing their custom wallpaper. Their sink was upgraded to an Elkay hammered under-mount sink with a Delta Ara Channel faucet in chrome. For their countertop, they went with a simple Calacatta Umber from Arizona Tile.
Guest Bath
We removed the original tub and shower combo and built them a large walk-in shower. They chose a custom, 3/8th inch stationary glass panel for their enclosure. Arizona Tile Smooth Glossy White tiles were used for their shower walls, with Bedrosians Hemisphere Balboa flat pebbles for their shower floor. For the vertical accent tile, they chose Bedrosians Verve Wonderous, which was also used in the shampoo niche. Their shower fixtures were upgraded to Kohler, composed of chrome with matching towel bars.
