We removed the unused tub and built our clients a large walk-in shower. By keeping the plumbing on the shower wall, our clients were able to keep their existing window, which gave the space its natural light. For their shower walls, they chose Arizona Tile Calcutta Matte and Bedrosians Calcutta Oro Hexagon Mosaic for their shower floor. Arizona Tile Soho Suede was used for their accents trip and shampoo niches. For a true walk-in experience, they opted for a doorless shower enclosure. Over the pony wall, a custom stationary panel with brushed nickel hardware was installed. For convenience, we relocated the shower valve to the pony wall, allowing our clients to turn the shower on before walking in. We also installed two shower seats, a large one at the entrance for seating and a smaller, diagonal seat at the opposite end for convenience. Their sink and shower fixtures were upgraded to brushed nickel Kohler Alteo fixtures. For their vanity, we left the existing cabinets in place, upgraded the countertop to a granite Delicatus White from Arizona Tile, and replaced the original sinks with white, under-mount sinks. The existing mirror and light fixtures were reinstalled, and we upgraded their flooring to a semi-polished Arizona Tile Reside Brown.
