After remodeling this Anthem Country Club kitchen, we started phase two, which included a guest room, the hallway bathroom, converting a space into a second master suite, and a mudroom/laundry room. After making design decisions, we got straight to work.
In the guest room and hallway, we started by demoing the bathroom, including the vanity cabinets, countertop, sink, faucet, mirror, accessories, flooring, and baseboards. From there, we moved the plumbing for a new shower, vanity, and toilet location. After reframing the space, we started on the shower. The new 64”x36” shower included the Delta Velum Stainless shower valve, shower trim, and shower head. We used the American Olean Ideology Lasa Beige Polished 12×24” tile for the shower walls in a vertical position with a ⅓-⅔ offset pattern. To compliment the shower walls, we used Arizona Tile CS Skyline Multi Finish Hex for the shower floor and shampoo recess. Finishing off the shower, we used a ⅜” clear glass bypass shower door with a drilled in towel bar in brushed nickel. For the vanity, we installed full access Showplace EVO Vienna Textured Melamine cabinets with a Licorice Groov finish and slab drawer fronts. To complement the contemporary style of this home, we used Richelieu BP816096-195 cabinet handles. Topping off this vanity, we used MSI Calacatta Lazo Oro 2cm quartz with a mitered edge detail. The customer went with an MSI 20”x15” rectangle undermount sink with a matching Delta Velum Stainless single handle faucet. To show off this space even more, we added a showstopping 28”x40” LED Mirror. Lastly, we installed Arizona Tile Tivoli Grigio 12×24” Lounge Tile for the bathroom floor. The customer was thrilled with the final product of this space.
To create the second master bedroom ensuite, we needed to demo out the existing walls and frame for new walls and doors to allow for this private space. From there, we started on the plumbing for the bathroom. The new was framed to 83”x42” with a 4” curb. After moving plumbing valves to allow for the new location of the bathroom fixtures, we installed the Delta Velum Stainless shower valve, trim, and shower head. Similar to the previous bathroom, we used American Olean Ideology Lasa Beige Polished 12”x 24” in a vertical ⅓-⅔ offset pattern for the shower walls and Arizona Tile CS Skyline Multi Finish Hex for the shower floor and shampoo recess. For the vanity, we used the same Showplace EVO Vienna Textured Melamine Licorice Groov Full Access cabinets. For consistency, we used the MSI Calacatta Laza Oro 2cm quartz slab with a mitered edge. We also added a matching linen cabinet at 108” high and 24” deep. Both cabinet locations used Richelieu BP816096-195 handles for the doors and BP816128-195 handles for the drawers. The customer chose the 33” x 15” Lacava Cube undermount sink, which was large enough for two Delta Velum Stainless faucets. This brought a unique touch to this gorgeous space. In this bathroom, we added a 60” x 40” LED mirror to the vanity. We used the same Arizona Tile Tivoli Grigio 12×24” for the bathroom floor to finish off this project.
Lastly, for the laundry room/mudroom renovation, we started by removing the flooring, baseboards, countertops, and cabinets. We had to move the laundry drain, water, vent, sink drain, and gas line to a new location per design request of the customer. We reinstalled a few of the customer’s existing cabinets, but the cabinets opposite of the laundry machines were Oasis Shaker White with full overlay and five piece drawer fronts. We used Richelieu BP816096-195 for the doors and BP8160128-195 for the drawers. Different from the other new spaces, we used MSI Vena Carbona 2cm quartz with a mitered edge to top off these cabinets. To contrast, the window seat cabinets were Showplace Overlay Pendleton 275 Maple Harvest Satin with a matching wood top. In this space, we used Bedrosian Rock Crystal Mount Everest Polished 16”x32” tile for the flooring to layout with the existing kitchen. This returning customer came home to a gorgeous new space and was so thrilled with the outcome.
