Before the remodel, this kitchen had a peninsula with an attached pantry, which we removed entirely, leaving the structural post. This helped give our clients an open concept. Trenching was required to run power to the new custom-built island, which included storage and bar seating for four. The cabinets were refinished with Showplace Maple Rockport, topped with MSI Montclair White countertops, and Richelieu handles were installed. The oven cabinet was modified to fit the new custom microwave oven combo. We removed the old microwave above the cooktop and replaced it with a Z-Line stainless steel hood. We upgraded the sink to an under-mount stainless steel sink with a Delta Trinsic faucet and laid Dal Koncrete Beige tile in a brick pattern for the backsplash.
