In this gorgeous transitional Henderson whole home remodel, we remodeled the powder bathroom, the upstairs guest bathroom, the downstairs ensuite bathroom, the master bathroom, indoor and outdoor kitchen backsplashes, repainted the home, redid the flooring throughout the entire home, and added a NanaWall exterior door.
In the powder bathroom, we removed the cabinet, countertop, sink, faucet, mirror, and toilet. The customer supplied a Restoration Hardware freestanding cabinet and sink. After installing that piece to the valves, we added the Brizo SIderna Polished Chrome widespread handle faucet. In addition, the customer replaced the existing toilet with the Toto Drake II elongated bowl faucet at universal height.
Before remodeling the upstairs guest bathroom, there was an existing double vanity and builder grade alcove tub/shower. We discarded the shower components, vanity components, and the toilet. Starting with the shower, we replaced the tub with the Signature Hardware Sitka 36”x 60” three wall alcove tub. After adding our Schluter waterproof membrane, it was time to add the Arizona Tile Cosmic 12” x 24” tile in a horizontal ⅓-⅔ pattern and a Schluter Jolly 100 ACG Polished Chrome edge to the shower walls. We installed the Brizo Levoir Polished Chrome shower valve, shower trim, and shower head. We moved from a double vanity to a single vanity to allow for more counter space. To start, we supplied and installed Dura Supreme Carson Shaker Paint Grade Zinc cabinets with a Della Terra Quartz New Venatino Grey countertop. To finish this gorgeous new space, we used the Brizo Vetis Polished Chrome widespread faucet.
For the downstairs ensuite bathroom, we reframed the shower to be 41×41”, removed the vanity, mirror, medicine cabinet, toilet, bidet, and accessories. We added the Toto Drake II Elongated Bowl at universal height. For the vanity, we installed Dura Supreme Carson Shaker Paint Grade Zinc cabinets with a Della Terra Quartz New Venatino Grey countertop. We reinstalled the existing sink and added the Brizo Vetis Polished Chrome widespread faucet. For the shower, we used Arizona TIle Cosmic Ivory 12”x24” tile in a vertical ⅓-⅔ pattern with Schluter Jolly 100 ACG Polished Chrome to finish off the edge. The customer loved the Arizona Tile Calacatta Gold HOned 2”x2” hex, so we used that material for the shower floor and the shampoo recess. Like the previous bathroom scope, we used the Brizo Levoir Polished Chrome shower valve, shower trim, and shower head. To close off this space, we used the frameless ⅜” clear glass shower door.
The master bathroom was the star of the show which now includes a 195”x45” shower, a 32”x14” shampoo recess, three shower heads, and two entrances. In this space, after we installed the Schluter waterproofing system, we used MSI Durban White polished 24”x48” in a horizontal pattern on the shower walls with Arizona Tile CS Calacatta Gris Multi Finish 2”x2” hex to be used for the shower floor and the shampoo recess. Like the other showers in previous scopes of work, we used the Brizo Levoir Polished Chrome shower valves, diverter, shower heads, and handheld shower head on a slide bar. To finish off this shower, we installed a 131 ½” x 104 ½” frameless shower glass to the ceiling using chrome hardware and a ⅜” clear tempered glass and u-channel on top and bottom. After this, it was time to install the freestanding Signature Hardware Laxson 71” Acrylic Soaking Tub with a Brizo Levoir floor mounted tub spout and valve. For the vanity, we used Dura Supreme Crestwood Carson Maple Cashew Satin cabinets with Richelieu BP30596-140 and BP305192-140 cabinet handles. To top off this gorgeous double vanity, we used Della Terra Carrara Barollo quartz. We were able to reuse their existing sinks, but we complimented the vanity with Brizo Siderna Polished Chrome widespread faucets. The homeowners were very impressed with the final result of their new master bathroom.
The homeowner wanted a more classic look to already gorgeous kitchen, so we replaced their existing backsplash with Floor and Decor Artisan Frost 3”x12” subway tiles. For their outdoor kitchen, we replaced their rainbow backsplash with MSI Bellagio Blend Elongated Hex Honed tiles. These small updates completely changed the feel of both of these spaces.
The homeowners wanted to completely redo their existing flooring and replace it with luxury vinyl planks (LVP). They picked out The Flooring Warehouse Faragra 60”x9” 20 mil LVP. To continue the theme throughout the house, we replaced the existing flooring at the stairs with the matching stair treads. Additionally, we replaced the existing baseboards with MDF 4.5” 387 MUL-4 baseboards to modernize the space even more. In every room, with exception of the downstairs ensuite, we repainted the inside of the home with Sherwin Williams Simpli White 7021.
Lastly, after receiving a permit from the City of Henderson, we were able to remove a large window at the rear of the den and replace it with a 144”x96” NanaWall in the color: oyster.
After a complete face lift of this home, we were overjoyed with the outcome of this whole home remodel.
